Trick or Treat Trail | North St. Paul Family Photographer | Community
During the month of October, I had the great opportunity to represent my business Memory Me Studio at the first annual Trick Or Treat trail hosted by Janie's Playground at Casey Lake Park in North St. Paul, MN. As a photographer, I love when I can give back to my community and start to build more relationships with both the individuals and the businesses in the area. I am already looking forward to volunteering my time at this event next year. I hope to be there for years to come and watch the children of the community grow as well as see the event thrive each year.
I photographed children from 65 families from North St. Paul and the surrounding Maplewood and St. Paul area. The children quickly made their rounds through the trail and came to trick or treat at our booth. We gave away over 1000 pieces of candy that originally filled our bowl to the brim. It was busy but all of the children and families that I had the joy of interacting with were happy and having a great time.
Personally, I have been a part of the St. Paul community since 2009 when I moved to St. Paul. My Family now lives in the house that I chose in college, never imagining I would build a family here. My studio also resides in my St. Paul Duplex. 8 years ago, I would never have imagined how much this house would feel like a home to me. It has been quite the ride and I now love that I am raising my children to be a part of this community and that with my photography I am able to give back in a way that I have found to be so appreciated.
The portraits captured at our photo station are available to the Families who attended this event, a full gallery is also available on our Facebook page for public viewing.
